Though the Wintu Tribe of Northern California is the "historic" tribe of this area, we are not recognized by the Federal Government. If you would like to help us  gain this recognition please download and fill out our petition.   Return the petition to our tribal office at the address listed above.

There is still legislation pending that would affect the Endangered Species Act protections in California’s Bay-Delta estuary,  threatening Salmon fishery . If you would like to support the protection of the Salmon, download any of the three letters to our congressional representatives, date, sign and mail them.
