Jim Ballard, a Silicon Valley veteran who now owns several north state ventures, will give a presentation to the Shasta Technology Association at noon next Friday in the Caldwell Park Room on the second floor of ReddingCity
Ballard owns IT Gold USA, an information technology consulting firm, and All Pro Networks, a business network support company.
He's also project director of the new Toyon-Wintu Computer Recycling Project, which intends to place used computers with low-income families that include children with disabilities.
